about_me
When I'm not coding, I'm usually either cooking with my incredible soon-to-be wife, planning the crew's next camping trip, or leaving no dwarves behind in Deep Rock Galactic. I have lofty dreams of one day using the skills, knowledge, and connections I'll acquire over the course of my career to help make the world a more connected place.

With Classic City Computing, I have completed a wide variety of projects using an even more diverse array of technologies, many of which I picked up along the way. Listed below is a sampling of projects I'm particularly proud of:
- Using Power BI, I created a tool for a healthcare client that empowered them to go after their maximum possible reimbursements from insurance. Using the client's legacy MSSQL database and a VM-hosted Power BI server, I was able to create an interactive report that allowed end-users to filter down to specific CPT codes and see what insurance companies historically paid out for those operations.
- Utilizing Salesforce's API, a custom database we set up to catalog webhook events from Sendgrid, and custom Python libraries interfacing with Salesforce and Sendgrid, I created a routinely-running app that cleans out bad emails from both systems. This has raised our client's sending reputation to 99% and kept it there.
- Developed a custom library in Python to make further developments in Salesforce and Sendgrid easier. Using this library, I automated several time-consuming routine tasks including contact maintenance, weekly backups, and the upload of jobs to their respective job boards.

- The Wrongle - This is a gag game I made on a whim back when Wordle was the hit thing. Some of my friends were routinely sending their scores in the group chat, and I had the thought that it would be really funny if I managed to perform so poorly that my wrong guesses numbered in the thousands; thus, the Wrongle was born. It's built entirely with HTML, JS, and CSS and uses a custom pseudorandom number generator to choose the daily word. In normal play, the only real way to win is to enter the suggested words enough times until you have so many auto-guesses that you're almost guaranteed to get the right word - although it is technically possible to get the word correct without assistance.
- My wedding website - Building this site with my fiancé turned out not only to be fun but also one of the most rewarding things we've done together. We decided to style the site after the physical invitations she designed, and neither of us could be happier about how it turned out. This site, similar to the Wrongle, was built using only HTML, CSS, and JS. If I were to do this over again, I would use Vue or something similar.
- Various ideas being bounced around and worked on all the time - ask me about them!
